My first beach day of summer 2014 tomorrow!!! And with that said here is my take on summer: Ive come to learn how bad sun exposure can be for you. Sure we all want to get some color or just catch some rays but we do not stop to think about the consequences when we dont protect ourselves from the sun. Many of us dont wear sunscreen because it can be a hassle or a bother to reapply. However, the amount of time you spend in the sun can be deadly. After getting our first sunburn before age 18, we increase our risk of getting MELANOMA (a serious and deadly CANCER!) by 50 PERCENT and increasing after every sunburn. Many of us brush it off and think it wont happen to be but it can happen to anyone. Get educated this summer! Get the facts - ITS NOT JUST SkIN CANCER!
