My first born son, Adam, had me drop him off at LSU hospital on Tuesday, March 25, so he could admit himself for psychiatric treatment. This was after a night of keeping Keith and I awake with his ranting. He is bipolar-schizoaffective type. Hes been on medication, but recognized he was not doing well (not eating or sleeping, suffering anxiety and paranoia, etc.). Im proud of him for taking action before he went full-on delusional. I havent heard from him nor has he accepted my calls and the hospital denies he is there (but he is, a detective verified it for me). He may be on a 72 hour hold that ends today, or he may be there longer. I welcome all prayers, or other spiritual petitions on his behalf. Keith and I could use some help as well as it is very stressful living with a mentally ill person. We love him.
