My first day commuting to Jersey has been eventful. Being that today is Monday and that Ive been awake since 5am means my brain isnt functioning properly yet. I get off the N train and proceed to NJ Transit at Penn Station. Too bad I walked into the LIRR instead. Finally realizing my mistake I run to Penn Station to attempt to catch my 7:12am train to South Brunswick. Had to wait in line to get my train ticket and then ran as fast as I could to the train since the ticket booth person said I have about 20 seconds to make it. Proceed down the stairs and barely made my train and am now on this 73 minute long train ride to see my new team. Thank goodness I only have to make this commute for the next 2-3 months depending on how long it takes for training. Overwhelmed? Yes. Nervous? Yes. Ready to do the best I can in my new role? Hell Yes! Wish me luck everyone, its gonna be a looooong day...
