My first encounter with a shark. This is a true story. I went to panama city beach, deep sea fishing, you paid to get on the boat and they give you a number and back then you had a choice of a regular reel or electric reel. We got the electric reels because it was a long way to reel back up from the bottom. Got on the boat layed down on a bunk slep about three hours, got up ate something went to my number got ready to fish. We were catching some fish and some of the peoples fish just had a head something was eating them as they came up. Then this big shark showed up, one of the workers on the came out with a high powered rifle shot near him a couple of times. We would move and here he would come again, finally they threw him a big fish, and I watched along with others on the boat as this shark ate that fish. This was the first shark I ever seen in the ocean, I have caught a few small sharks, but they would let them go said they were not allowed to bring them on the boat......... I bet if you could find one of those old electric reels it would be worth some money...................Doil wayne
