My first tincture is done! I did a quart of feverfew leaves, with 2 1/2 cups of ever-clear and 1 cup water. Let it set for four weeks in a cool dry place and remember to shake it everyday. Today made - four weeks and I strained the leaves from the liquid and pour the liquid into dark glass bottles. The tincture is for migraines. I do not get migraines, buy my son-in-law does and he wanted to try it out to see if it works. Ill post when I hear back from him. Its a deep dark green color. NOTE: you can use vegetable glycerin or brandy in place of ever-clear. Dosage: Acute 1 teaspoon every hour, chronic 1 to 3 teaspoons daily, prevention 1/2 teaspoon 2 to 3 times daily. Shelf live 8-10 years. I am not a doctor or licence herbalist, nor do I play on on TV.
