My first year at The University of Alabama is pretty much over. I feel like I could write a book on how to have a successful and not so successful freshman year. Ive been afforded many opportunities this school year some of which I took advantage of and some of which I didnt (you quickly learn that everything offered to you isnt something you should accept.. Life lesson as well!) I came to college thinking that 90% of what I learned would come from a lecture hall or a textbook, but I was so wrong. Grades are important, BUT Ive learned more outside of lecture halls than inside of them. One of the most important lessons I was taught this year was humility. There are SO MANY different levels of humility, and I believe I was at the very bottom before I came to The Capstone lol, but thank God for growth and learning experiences. All in all, Id say Ive had a great first year with some great people & even greater experiences! God bless & Roll Tide! ❤️🐘🌊
