My flight was about to take off in Indianapolis. I was flying lead and Jodi Robison Atkins was flying with me. A mechanic came to the door right as they were about to shut it and said that there was some explosion in NYC and that until they figured out what happened they were grounding our aircraft. A few minutes later the flight deck told us what was transpiring. Our crew and passengers were told to deplane. While waiting in the gate area, we witnessed the 2 nd plane crashing into the twin towers along with witnessing aircraft from all over the world immediately landing!! I know everyone has there memories of that horrible day that changed our nation and put us at war. My heart still goes out to the brave crew members and their families along with the men and women who have fighting to protect our country. Never Forget! God Bless the USA!!!
