My flight with other Nigerians was canceled on the due date we were suppose to fly back to the country. The official of the airline collected our passports so that the immigration stamps can be canceled that we are not departing the country yet. The passport of a particular elderly woman was queried, that her picture is not real. This elderly woman shouted, this was the passport she has been using for long and no problem. I walked up to her that how many times has she use the passport to traveled, she said like 8 times. At the end of the day, the passport was accepted. We were lodged in a five star hotel pending the replacement of our flight. Around 1 am, we were told that our names have been transferred to another international flight. It was a big relief for us, especially me, for I have lots of appointments back home. Around 2.30am, we were conveyed to the airport, one after the other, we queue to collect our boarding pass, when it gets to the turn of this elderly woman again, her name was missing. We are to board within 30 minutes, this woman wanted to cry, but with the encouragement of other Nigerians that stood by her, she calmed down. I was with her all along and told her that she need to pray very well. It was her passport that was queried and it was only her name that was omitted. At the end of the day, it was sorted out and she was able to fly with us. (In this life, we need to pray well, in this life, we need to hold the pillar of God, good things need prayer, bad situation needs prayer, pray with faith, dont just fold your hands).
