My fourteen-year-old son was a hero after the car accident yesterday. He took care of me. I was bloody, and he went into action and got someone in a nearby house to give us a cloth. I was sitting on the side of the road, dazed and unable to focus. Once I knew my son was okay--the first thing I asked after the crash--its like my brain went fuzzy. Shock, I guess. He got me water. Got my purse from the car. Not only was I blessed in my son walking away from the crash without a single scratch or bruise, Im blessed with his strength in taking care of me when I was unable to. He was a hero. He is my hero. I have the best kid ever.
