My friend Martin asked this on his feed earlier, and I thought I would share my response with you. If you would like to answer as well, or give your thoughts, please do. He asked: What were you doing when you heard the plane hit the Tower? I was out running errands and I was at the Carlisle Town Hall paying our water bill. There was no one at the desk so I rang the bell. Instead of someone coming out from behind the desk a door to my left opened and a woman waved me into a small office where they were watching the scene unfold on television. The first plane had hit, and the news casters were still calling it an accident. I was standing there waiting for my receipt when the second plane hit and all hell broke loose. I spent the rest of the day listening to the coverage on the radio in my car or television with my family at home. I saw the fires, and the people jumping from the towers. I saw them fall. I will never forget it.
