My friend Mary Lou Pugh Rodgers almost died a few weeks ago after going in for a rather routine surgical procedure. Many of you prayed and gave blood. I want to thank you for your love, your care, and your compassion and for some,yes, even your blood. She has had an amazing recovery… but then, she is an amazing person. Actually quite extraordinary. I know this story is still unfolding, but I do want to say a big, giant,humongous, THANK YOU for all of you who held the light, who prayed without ceasing, who knew that miracles were happening and at work in this family and its community. You are a miracle worker and I am so grateful you are in my Que or my hood, or my peeps, or my family or my Facebook friend. I bless you and I thank your for your energy, your word of prayers and your concern and love. XOXO
