My friend Michael Raffanti has rescued a cat from a terrible situation. Can you help? I am calling on my animal-loving friends to help me find a home for Grady. This guy has had a rough life so far and I really want to find a nice home for him where he will be part of the family. Grady belonged to a family who moved into the neighborhood a couple of years ago. He was neglected and treated in an abusive manner by the kids (kicking, throwing rocks at him, etc.). So, he moved onto the front porch of an old woman down the street who has been taking care of him. Well, she is now is a nursing home so Grady is alone. I have been bringing him over to my house during the day, but with 5 indoor cats and 3 dogs of my own, there is not much room left at the inn. I took Grady to the vet this week and he is in relatively good health—I’m just treating him for some ear mites. He is about 7 years old and is now up to date on vaccines. He is very sweet and loves humans, dogs and other cats (even when they hiss at him). I hope that you will let me know if anyone in your network of friends and family might be able to take in this great cat. I am willing to get him to anywhere he can find a loving home.
