My friend Ora Black has been nursing her husband Roger through treatment for kidney cancer. She and Roger were longtime foster parents for numerous teens over many years. They are one of those families who had big hearts for a houseful of often-difficult children, and they shared their lives selflessly and at great personal sacrifice to help kids in our community. I know what its like to put gas in your car for doctor visits, treatment, etc., and all the other miscellaneous expenses that make a stressful time worse. If you can spare a few dollars, Im sure it will make a big difference to them.
