My friend Tina Smart Monroe just messed up my life big time. She told me about audible and now Im hooked. Thinking back its the 2nd time in my life Ive ever been read to. I had some self-help cassette tapes I listened to in the car once but that was a long time ago. You caught that when I said cassette, right? I cant remember not being able to read, started around 3, and was always the reader, not the readee. Never had someone reading just to me. I downloaded the first segment of Sycamore Row and loving it. My neck was hurting me real bad and I got to lie one my vibrating pad on the sofa and just listen. Then I went ahead and downloaded the 2nd segment so itll be ready, in my library, when I need to relax. This book was free and Ill have to use caution when I go through my wish list as it could run into money fast. But I see that every so often you get a free one. I mean, this is too cool for words. Always wanted a Kindle since they emerged but cant afford it. But getting to relax and listen is even better I think. But you can probably do that on the Kindle too? Anyway, I love it.
