My friend, former (and future!) fellow Californian Denise Bonds Loo is in a National Geographic Wild special called Pond Stars, 10pm Eastern/ 9 pm Central. She professionally renovates backyards, transforming them into water gardens! Its beautiful cause and a practice you could pursue yourself: sustainable aquatic ecosystems, right in peoples back yards! Even if you dont have every resource on hand, its bound to inspire you...its bound to be brilliant! POND STARS. Be sure to watch it!
