My friend, former coworker, devils advocate and frequent verbal adversary Gunnar Shroyer, passed away last night. He was a unique soul, and while we often found ourselves on opposite sides of a spirited debate, we were also brothers in arms in the metaphorical quest for meaningful significance on this earth. The world is darker for his light being extinguished. RIP, Gunnar Shroyer. I will be a voluntary Steeler fan for a year in your honor, knowing you temporarily carried a Seahawk banner this year for us. It might seem a shallow thing to some, but it would be exactly what Gunnar would want/appreciate.
