My friend, the very talented artist Jimmie Arroyo, has graciously invited me to participate in the 5 day art share thingie. Day 1, Im showing some color pencil on canvas pieces. I really love the look of these drawings. Ive been using this technique for over 10 years and it continually evolves. I honestly first started drawing on canvas so that I wouldnt have to spend money on frames. Now its actually become the technique I feel most connected to. I will be doing more soon. Id like to invite Thomas John Carlson to join the circus. Hes a prolific artist whose recent surreal and travel pieces display his highly skilled use of color and design.
