My friends tell me that I need to stop and take time to smell the roses. I would prefer to stop and take time to smell all of the wonderful smells of my animals. There is nothing as sweet as the smell of a puppys breath. Or, how nice and clean the animals smell after a bath or a cleansing gentle rain for our wild friends. And I know there is nothing at all good about smelling animal poop, but is sure is a very positive thing. For if there is animal poop then that means that the animal is eating which means that it has a full belly and not being deprived of food. And in an old animal it means that they still have the want and will to eat and to still be here with us. Remember Sissy my Katrina survivor who was diagnosed with cancer in June when I was in Europe and I was told she would not be alive when I returned? Well she was.... Thank you Kim at In Harmony with Nature and Dr. Wessner, a great homeopathic Vet. Yesterday Sissy went on a day run with Monika Laux Turner and I picking up donated goods for Ears. Thank you Karen Panker. Sissy rode with us all day and was content, comfortable and happy. We stopped and got her a hot dog and she had a great day hanging out with Monica, Tinker, Chloe and I. I welcome the smell of the animals, but do not get me wrong, I love plants, (thank you Karen Pander for my plants), and I love to watch them grow into beautiful flowering masterpieces. I am so much more blessed than many I know. I am thankful for all the wonderful people in my life that loves the animals as I do. Namaste to all of you, Jaye
