My girl Kim back squatting a single @ 112.5kg, 4 months ago when she started with me she had constant back problems and could not get depth with her squat pattern. I am a big advocate of being holistic (allied health professional, rehab, performance) with a rehabilitation approach and once the body has learnt to switch on certain muscle groups then load is added..... strength is the foundation of performance and rehab in my opinion... activation, mobility and soft tissue work only works for a short time.. once basic activation has been reached performance programming MUST be used!
