My girl dropped her last binky in the toilet. She was devastated. I felt sorry; other mothers are doing creative things (like mailing the binky to a baby who needs it more) while this is how we unceremoniously end an era. But it was over. Time to move on. And then she found another deep in the crevasse of the sofa. So we are back to our rule of only at nap time until I can figure out something creative this time... She came out of her room with the binky in her mouth. I said, If youre sleepy, go get in bed. Otherwise, put it on your shelf till nap time. Out go her arms in this creepy, stumbling walk. And she says, around a mouthful of binky, Im sleepwalking, Mama.
