My goal and plan is to live my life for at least 80 years on this earth. I am half way there, and I am taking measures to live my life healthy and to enjoy the friends and family around me. But I have to ask a question. And perhaps it is a selfish question to ask: How is it that one person in one presidential term of 8 years, and one governmental group of people in our capital in a term of 6-10 years (both of which represent approximately 1/10 of MY life span), CAN BE SUCH A FACTOR IN DETERMINING THE FATE OF ME AND MY FAMILY, by simply shrugging off the protection of our borders to bad people (meaning potential terrorists), shrugging off the protection of our country to infectious diseases, and putting up this mirage of a healthy economy, thus shrugging off the extremely bad economic situation we are in. How did everything go so south in such a short period of time? I am not posting this facebook comment to open up a political debate, but I just really gotta know. Looks like I need to shut up and get off my ass and start supporting my local politicians!!
