My good friend Rick Schneblin relayed a message from a mutual friend, Wendy Fremin: Some of you have already heard that my husband, Kit, had a heart attack last night.Prayers are appreciated! Yesterday we were already at the hospital for an angiogram. When a blockage was discovered he was ambulanced to a different hospital that could put in a stent. When he arrived he became violently ill and blood pressure dropped very low. When stabilized hosp staff said they would wait to do the procedure in the morning. While waiting he started having severe chest pains and pain down his arms. They were slow in responding and family needed to flag down staff several times for help. They gave him pain meds, which did not work. Several hours later the Dr. on call came in and ordered IV blood thinners. This morning when he went in for angioplasty they discovered hed been having a heart attack, a blood clot was lodged in the blockage. They cleared it out and put in a stent. Now he is recovering well and may be released tomorrow. Thank you, friends, for lifting us up.
