My grandmother (fathers mother) helped my parents to get thru the bad days..She collected tapioca, dried it and they bought and stored dry fish...During famine it helps..They had tapioca in their village, in my fathers property and coconut. They sell cocunut, its money..So thus my parents survived. But when it happend all of sudden, it was not actually famine, actually he had face strike in their job place for months..So you need time to dry out tapioca in the sun..So all in pain as to how long it takes..My grandmother was crying..She wanted us to stay with her but my parents had some reason to deny the plan .I dont remember..I think my treatment was going on..He was in tension as to how to clear the debt, borrowed a sum for my treatment. And was in total fear that company wil soon be closed and he will lose his job.The company was almost closed for an undetemined period of time , and all employees were on strike...Gate was closed..So they were in tesion.. My father , i remember, he was almost like Nazir ji in the song..His face,His look, poise, gestures, seriousness but loving and romantic for my mother..ofcourse..Exactly how he appears in the movie resembles my father a lot..Bahot yaad dilaathe hein..It was later he grew tummy
