My group just returned from spending a few hours in Nazareth. In - TopicsExpress

My group just returned from spending a few hours in Nazareth. In recent weeks it has been the location of several riots and protests. As the largest Palestinian city within Israel we were hesitant to enter in. However, God brought us to that place at that time for a reason. Today is a holy day for the Muslims, which meant that the city was practically dormant. We walked through the main market street where not even one shop was open. We were able to walk the streets and visit sites of the village where Jesus spent the majority of His life. There seemed to be a sense of peace and calm over the city. Yet as we walked into one of the churches we encountered a small group of about four or five young boys, probably about ten to twelve years old. In their hands were toy guns and rifles. Not only was the sight disturbing considering the present situation, but also the impact of their actions was indescribable. As we said hello and walked through the door to the church they began to point their toy guns at and us, pretending to shoot. The whole encounter was so other. To see the innocence of these boys ripped away, leading them to imitate terrorists was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. Over the past several years, and months especially, it has been clear that hell is targeting the seed. Whether it is the shootings in public places, the kidnapping of the school girls in Nigeria, or the murder of the three Israeli boys, it is evident the next generation is under attack. As Kingdom people our intercession and intervention on their behalf is truly a life and death situation. We are an army rising up and we march against the very gates of hell.
