My guest for tonight is the former managing director and now Executive Vice Chairman of StarLife Assurance Company. Chairman Frank as he is affectionately called is a visiting lecturer at the West African Insurance Institute in Banjul, The Gambia. His thirty year career in insurance started from the very foundations as an insurance officer at SIC in 1984 and, as they say, he rose through the ranks by dint of hard work all the way to the top. In addition to being an award winning chartered insurer, he has undertaken several international courses in UK, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa, Nigeria, Guinea and Rwanda, among others. But the most exciting part for me is that he started his education from proper syto. He attended the Kwahu-Pepease Primary and Middle school from where he took his Common Entrance and moved to Abuakwa State College at Kyebi. What is the driving force that projected him all the way to the top of his field? What lessons has he learnt that can benefit someone in syto or anyone starting their career as an insurance underwriter or beginner in any field. What is his winning philosophy? Find out as Frank Oppong-Yeboah joins me in edition seven of Leaders Digest on Springboard, your virtual university, tonight. Do make a date.
