My happy mother and daughter conversation just now!!! My phone rings...Me: Hi mom! My mom: Hellow Nia, O mom.! Me:I know its you..:)! Mom:Faafekai mo le kupe! Ua maua mai!(Thank you for the money I have received). Me:Youre very welcome! So what did you buy for your birthday? Mom,I put $100 in my account....and did some grocery shopping. Me,Well, thats good to save your money for your airline ticket..:)LOLOL!! I sent you the money to buy yourself something for your birthday...(in Samoan language). Mom:Yeah my hubby and I went out for lunch...( in Samoan language) Me:Did your hubby pay or you paid with the money I sent over? Mom:I paid...!! Me: That wasnt fair. I gave you the money... Mom:Se Nia, aua e ke faapega. (Nia-dont be like that! Me:No mom! Dont mix up oranges and apples!..Hahahahaha!!!(We both laughed so hard!) Mom:You say apples and oranges but here in Samoa we say family for life...LOLOL That was hilarious..!!! What a funny night! Malo mom le poka. Thought would share my moment with my mother!!
