My heart aches for these people. I have pulled my kids from church, activities, travel, and social gatherings for about three weeks. People have made statements of me being over the top. Just being in the Healthcare field taught me things. The CDC is a joke. A simple homeschool mom knew better than these things. I worry that they cant possibly be this incompetent. There is a base site set up in hickory, NC. I had over 20 calls yesterday apologizing for thinking I was crazy. God was VERY clear in my dreams and I heeded what he told me to do. Protect yourselves till they get this under control. It is a matter of time that they lock down cities. Dont get on a plane! Avoid places with large amounts of people for a little while. You know what this should teach Americans? Dont let your Government speak or think for you! Reason, research, prepare, and care for the world around you. The government lies because that is the system we have allowed them to build. When I went to ER the Dr bluntly told us there were numerous cases of possible ebola that were quarantined in triangle area. Not one news story on it though! People say oh but people are getting cured. The problem will be it spreads quicker than we can treat or handle. Then guess what happens. Only certain people get treatment. But hey what do I know I am this crazy woman that is trying to put fear in people. I dont want you to fear. Fear paralyzes you. I want you to wake up and when we start getting educated and aware we can hold them accountable! This story touched me today. As health-care professionals, this is what we have trained for, Susan M. Grant, the chief nurse at Emory Healthcare, who was involved in treating Ebola patients there, wrote in an op-ed for The Washington Post on August 6. People often ask why we would choose to care for such high-risk patients. For many of us, that is why we chose this occupation -- to care for people in need. ... As human beings, we all hope that if we were in need of superior health care, our country and its top doctors would help us get better. We can either let our actions be guided by misunderstandings, fear and self-interest, or we can lead by knowledge, science and compassion. We can fear, or we can care. We owe them some care -- and recognition -- in return.
