My heart goes out to everyone more closely involved in the as yet - TopicsExpress

My heart goes out to everyone more closely involved in the as yet unsolved Old London Coiffure murders. Family, employers, staff and friends. Simply horrific. The 60 Minutes piece - while it might stir a result - omitted Homicide Squad or cold-case comment. It also left more questions in some respects. Why hasnt an arrest been made exactly? Fingerprints, DNA etc., surely something has to give soon. With so many leads (public input) at the time, police were indeed swamped. As for blood removal - (killer-s had) alleged up to 90 minutes in the salon. Theres shampoo, towels, dryers etc. any killer could have cleaned up pretty well. If the woman (alleged witness) with the dog, saw a man with blood on him-where was the grandchild if the alleged killer is Margaret Pennys husband. He was babysitting the child. How did the author and sleuth come by her copies of photos of crime scene images? Like many others, I want justice and for it to be solved. Is this just shaking a tree to see what falls out? If the alleged killer was known to the victims, why was he on foot running or hurrying away. So can we expect an arrest based on DNA, fingerprints, motive and opportunity? Did Victoria Police cold case refuse to be interviewed for this story? Were they asked? Murder weapon alleged comb handle - what about other cutting injuries - weapon. Went to the car to get knitting - thats news. Who saw that? I dont doubt witnesses per se, everyone saw what they saw. Mr Pennys face would have been in the media - at the time, didnt that ring any bells? The CIB - local police were wrongly made to look bad in all this - there needs to be a major re-investigation. Hope the Homicide Squad get the support and evidence they need. Good luck!
