My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims in Santa Barbara. I am just returning from some travel and heard the news. I have also deleted a picture I posted of a happy couple on a beach and an unhappy onlooker. The post was pre-set before my travel and before the tragedy; I received and read fan emails about it and removed it given the possible unintended connection some might draw. Sadly, sometimes I (and my limited staffers to whom I gave the weekend off) are not able to get through comments and emails right away, as we do receive hundreds of messages daily. I apologize if any took offense at the unfortunately timed post.
