My heart goes out to this family. This happened to my grandson and he suffered a traumatic brain injury. It is a day I will never forget. Every detail is etched forever in my mind. My heartfelt thanks go out to my coworkers at Civista Medical Center who worked so hard to save his life. The ER team led by debbie shook Reynolds Dave, Marty, and John who went in the ambulance so we didnt have to wait for childrens hospital to get to us. (Rainy so hard the helicopters couldnt fly). To the radiology staff, Caren McGuigan who talked me through getting to the hospital because my daughter was so hysterical I couldnt understand what happened and Sandy Cassandra Burch who punched out of work and took over the care of Billy who was two. Veronica Gates who gave up clothing off her back so my daughter was clothed appropriately for the journey to childrens. The Potomac Heights rescue squad who worked the code on Bobby and never left his side after getting him to Civista. Then when they found that the helicopters werent flying because of the rain and the childrens transport team couldnt get to us for 2-3 hours volunteered to take him along with the Civista team. The Charles county sheriffs department who were first on the scene,performed CPR and helped with the transport. There numerous others who touched our lives that day. I will never forget you and I keep you in my prayers. Because of you Bobby is a precious part of my life. While his injury was devastating his slow recovery has been Gods miracle for me. There is nothing better for this Mimi then Bob Bob sweet smile. I truly believe in angels because I know he has his own special ones. At times he will look to heaven and just jaugh such a joyous laugh, thats when I know hes talking to his special angels. Love to all.
