My heart hurts as I sit here and reflect on prayer and us as a people of prayer (at least we should be if we call ourselves Christians). How many hours, days, years have we spent in fervent prayer asking God for a breakthrough, miracle or healing? How much time have we given to fasting just so that we could hear Gods voice more clearly as we seek strength and guidance through reading His word (the Bible)? How many rivers of tears have we shed just to see our loved ones set free, healed or saved as we cried out to God to answer our prayers on behalf of the lost, the sick and the spiritually blind? Okay now, so how many of us have seen the answer to our prayers and hold the blessing in our hands? And what are we doing with that blessing? Have we given that blessing back to God, or are we holding on tightly and are keeping it to ourselves? If we are doing that, we risk losing out on that blessing so enjoy it while we can before it slips right through our fingers and go right back to square one. If some of us are in our season of fasting, praying weeping and believing God for our breakthrough, healing or most importantly the salvation of lost loved ones, then let us continue to do so and not grow faint.. We are asking for and believing God for a good thing. And Gods word says that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Let us not grow weary, lets not quit praying, trusting and believing. God answers prayer according to His will and purpose and always in His perfect timing... Let us be good stewards of our blessings..And hold on cuz our breakthrough is on the way! *From the heart of a Princess*
