My heart is broken. One of my former W&L students passed away in an accident yesterday. He was one of those kids that just work their way into your heart. He was so kind and considerate to others that he would often be upset when he couldnt help a friend like he wanted. I remember one day he was upset over something so he and I just walked around the school until he calmed down. He was afraid he wouldnt be able to stop from getting into a fight. We walked in silence for a good 15 minutes and he finally started talking about it. In his reaching out to me I really felt I was doing something good with my life. I saw him many times after graduation and he was always eager to tell me everything he was doing and about his plans. My prayers are with his friends and family today and always.
