My heart is burdened with a situation this morning with a friend. I know how it feels and Ive been down the same road. I understand this can either be a man or woman, but in my case its a man. When my son was around 5 years old I decided one day that this is crazy. I was getting letters having to show up for court and would get phone calls that were not nice. All this because my childs father would not support his son, always told it was my fought. I knew as a mom that the love I had for my child was like no other, a child is part of me. How can you just walk around and let your child go without food and things they need when you are eating and have a shelter over your head. I quickly made the decision to sign his rights away. And to this day I have never regretted it and my son loves me and supports the decision I made. As a young mother I was not perfect, but I worked hard and took care if him. And ladies no Im not crazy for letting a deadbeat dad free. I enjoyed having peace of mind and was proud to raise my son in peace and not having to drag him in and out of the court system. Money isnt everything ladies. God will provide and will be there when man fails you!
