My heart is heavy tonight as the realization of the Senate vote to do away with filibuster was passed. Another step towards losing our freedoms and the march towards socialism. With a simple majority vote, the party in power can fill judges slots with any type people they deem fit. These are lifetime appts, not just a few years. I am not only implying one party, as we have seen both major parties slide left of late. Once decisions come down restricting the 2nd amendment, loosening requirements of the 4th etc, the slippery slope will become a fast train to destruction. When George Washington was in deep trouble during the revolution, he went to his knees in prayer for our fledgling nation, we must do the same.
