My heart is heavy tonight its been about four years now that my mom left this earth to be with God and the angels in heaven she was tired and worn down from the pressures of life with thanksgiving upon us Im thankful for the time that I had with her here on earth she was just not my mom she was my best friend she was somebody I could talk to when this world got me down she taught me how to be a man and stand on my own to feet she taught me to love god and go to him in prayer in good times and bad times she taught to stand for what I believed in and to never back down when people try to tear me down or go against those principals mom I know your watching I was ordained as a church deacon God is using me in his service in a mighty way I hope Im making you proud I pray I have turned into the man you taught me to be I dedicate this song to you Ill be missing you I miss you every day but one day Ill see you again
