My heart is overwhelmed with so many different emotions tonight! Im going to post a video along with this update that is so heart warming to watch how bravely Kohl is embracing this latest cycle of chemo. It is an incredibly heavy dose if chemo and it absolutely amazes me to see him show such love and laughter! And kudos to the wonderful nurse who took time out from her day (she wasnt even his nurse today) to stop and play what has become widely known as Kohls song (used for painful or scary procedures) just for fun with him! It made me want to cry watching someone care enough to take the time to just have a little fun with him and allowing him to enjoy his favorite song for nothing other than just his favorite song! Along with such good emotions I am also experiencing the dread and worry associated with the next couple if weeks following this chemo just because of our last experience with this one which made him so sick for quite a while and back in the icu again for a brief period. I am giving my complete faith to God that we will not have that experience this time around and that it will be smoother sailing! I BELIEVE in the power of prayer and I have seen firsthand how beautiful that power is! So all I can do is ask yet again that for those of you following my heros journey to continue the prayers! Ty again to each and every one of you as well as another big Ty to mom for being here to help me so much! I also owe an incredible Ty to my dad as well for taking care of so many things that I just cant be away from the hospital to take care of right now! And Ty to my aunt Tyra for the same reason! Not being home for 3 months makes for a lot of behind the scenes kinda stuff that theres no way I could possibly handle during this. As you will see from the video, he feels well at the moment however I do know the next couple weeks will not be quite this nice I DO believe they will be ok! We still have at least another 8 weeks or so left in patient before we can attempt to transition to Ronald McDonald house but we will continue to push forward!
