My heart is saddened & heavy tonight learning of the deaths of 2 lifelong dear friends....Judy Basse and Jim McCord. I was practically raised in the Basse home as Janet and I were very good friends. Judy was one of Mothers closest friends. I know that Mother is sharing some memories with her right now! Totally shocked at Jims death. I had watched the news about his boating accident last night but had no idea that it was him! Jim and his brother Steve McCord were cow showing buddies of ours. Our families even vacationed one summer in Florida together.Prayers needed for these two families. Prayers also needed for 2 other special folks...Bettye Hoover and Sis Thompson. Bettye was a sorority member with my mom. She hired me when I needed work & and gave me encouragement when I needed it so much! Sis worked for our family forever. She raised Sherry and was very, very partial to her. So much so that Mother had to hire someone else to watch me! LOL! I love these two women so much and saddened that they are also winding down their lifes journey. Prayers needed tonight!
