My heart is so heavy. I am losing faith in humanity. I cannot understand any justification to all the onslaught. Our leaders have failed us drastically. How are we supporting genocide? Why are we fighting to exterminate a country of its people? I say we because my taxpayer dollars is used to fund this apartheid. It hit me today that this will not end until there is no resemblance of a Palestine left. Until all the Palestinians left in Gaza and the West Bank are dead. Then what? What do we do in retrospect? Mourn for people we failed to help? I feel so powerless. So helpless. I can only pray. So I pray. I pray for the mothers who have lost their children. The children who have lost their parents. The brothers. The sisters. Aunts. Uncle. Cousins. Grandparents. Nieces and nephews. I pray for all those people around the world who a fighting to survive another day. I pray that our leaders open their eyes before its too late. I pray that God accepts all the prayers of all the people around the world begging for an end to destruction and murder. My prayers are not only for the Palestinians. My prayers are for all those oppressed and all the oppressors. May we all see peace one day. Contentment in what we have and eliminate greed and hatred.
