My heart is so heavy and I just cant get this off my mind....you do the best you can raising your kids, always wanting the best for them, and trying to keep them as safe as possible but in the blink of an eye it can all be taken away and not at all because of a mistake you made!!!! As my family and friends traveled to a soccer tournament with excitement, so did hundreds of others. And in most cases some traveled back with just as much excitement as they took off with. Some may have been holding their head down and wish they had never even gone! But one family had their world flipped upside down and returned home with a broken heart and one less family member!! Im counting my blessings that my friends and family got to make some great memories in our tournament in Holly Springs (Raleigh)...(maybe some not as great)...but we are so lucky not to have met the same horrible, unthinkable, and NEVER foreseen tragedy that fell upon this family that was only staying miles from where we were staying. I cannot imagine what this family is going through and it just turns my stomach!! Cherish those you love because no matter how much of a great job youre doing there are people out their who dont give a dam about anyone but their selves!! They have their own agendas and dont factor in the risks or danger that they may be inflicting on you or those you love!!
