My horses tail. Its by no means the worst I have ever seen. Reaches his hocks. But limp and thin and never grows (somewhat similar to my hair) (Only his is more glossy) unlike my hair It only gets brushed lightly and gently at shows. He doesnt rub. He is exceptionally feed sensitive. A pinch of anything other than what I currently have him on (including herbal/natural remedies) and that guy blows up and I nearly die. He is currently on excellent quality ad lib ergostis, hay replacement pellets, capstone balancer and myoplast. Other than the tail, he is in superb condition. Fit, happy, healthy, glossy coat, mane grows well, feet grow well. My mares tail needs to be cut every two weeks as it sweeps the floor. Far more pleasing picture in dressage where we need all the help we can get. Looking forward to some fabulous old wives tale answers.
