My husband, Junior, is just 30 years old and in need of a life saving kidney transplant. He is currently on dialysis three times a week at Renal Care of Rockland in Valley Cottage and spends four hours receiving treatment each time he is there. He is listed on the Westchester Medical (NY) and Albert Einstein (Philly) Transplant Lists but we are told it can be anywhere from 5 to 11 years before we are called for a kidney. We are hoping & praying to find a living donor, and need a kidney from someone with Blood Type O. We have started a Facebook page for him A Kidney for Junior, and thanks to our amazing family & friends and the North Rockland Community group we have been reaching more and more people than ever with Juniors story.
