My husband hardly post on social media.. but when he does... hes on point. He is currently doing a job that a lot of people are not appreciating. Then here on social media theres a lot of F the police. bla bla bla. how do you think that makes someone feel after he just put in 16 -17 hrs of work. Theres so many videos of people shooting at cops for no reason, but those are hardly ever seen. I guess being a cop you automatically assume the risk because you know that at anytime this could happen. I could go on for days but ill just repost what he said here........ I want all my friends and family to see this video and PLEASE read this entire post.... I have read many posts and kept very quiet keeping my opinions to myself. In America today, Everyone is having major opinions about police and our tactics. If you have never been a cop before I would like to know how could you tell someone how to do the job? Im pretty sure I could never tell a woman how to be a woman or a Hispanic how to be Hispanic or even a white how to be white. But I can tell anyone how it is to be a black man in America and a police officer in America. I would like to say before I was in law enforcement, I was never a victim of police brutality because I knew how to stay in my lane. I have had encounters with the police but I have never been illegally searched, or forced to sit down on a curb. When I was a civilian... I respected the law therefore I respected the police officer enforcing it. I know The incidents going on in America are not because of racism. They are in the simplest form because we as a society now struggle with authority. When it has become common to watch girls fight their moms, boys knock out their dads or elders in the neighborhood. Students fighting teachers, naturally all of that trickles down to everyone and anyone feeling like they have the god given right to fight any sign of authority (the police). These incident are always sad because a life is lost but they are ALWAYS unnecessary because they all start with someones simple struggle to accept the natural order of things - Police enforce laws. If you Respect the law, you shouldnt have a problem respecting the law enforcers. I know I was raised right. I never feared coming into contact with the police. We always do our job, we all share the same the mission to protect and serve. Society has a funny way of not allowing us to protect them.
