My iPad says it is only 12:16 am but Im in NC now and it is really 3:16 am. Our flight was delayed (on Southwest - no way!) and by the time we arrived at RDU the Dollar Car Rental office was closed. Our hotel was pretty far from the airport so we went to Avis because it was open. Their charge for the same period was three times more expensive. We rented a car for one day, will take it back whenever we awaken (guess we have to go to sleep first) and get to the Dollar rental when they are open. Then we tried to find a gas station to buy some cold beer - the first had all their lights on with a 24hr sign, but it was locked up; the second was open but they couldnt sell beer after 2 am. We bought water instead. We will miss a pre-wedding frolic in the park tomorrow morning. But, once we get the car situation straightened out, and once we get some sleep, well be ready to party with the best of them. Just another day . . .
