My issue is that this President is telling us it is time to Listen not shout and CLEARLY he talking to the folks who are most victimized to silence themselves. Where is the call for answers Mr. President, where is the call for using this opportunity to help push for better procedures which preempts moments where 18-year old black boys are killed?! Come on….Did you tell the parents of Newton to stop screaming, writing letters, etc?! Would you have Mamie Till to close the casket? See the more our bodies are in the street, we keep the casket open for ALL AMERICA to see what is happening in the cracks of Black America. We keep open the casket of Eric Garner; we keep open the casket of Renisha McBride; we keep the casket open of Trayvon martin & Oscar grant; we keep open the casket of all those who were lynched by white mobs and the people were told to just make sure they were not next. Unfortunately, it seems that you have forgotten this significant point. Mr. President, I have loved you and I have supported you, but over and over you seem to focus on disciplining my black brothers and sisters, rather than defending them, even when our blood is at your doorstep. That makes your position in the WHITE house more dangerous, than once-thought promising.
