My journal-writing has intensified to hone my skills as a writer. But, from the looks of it, I still have a long way to go to get into where I was a lifetime ago. Before, I could write 2,000 words in thirty minutes. Now, I can only write five hundred. Thats not the me of old. I tend to think too much before I commit words to the screen of my laptop, an empty electronic page yawning as trickles of words fill it at a glacial pace. Perseverance is key. I need to keep on keeping on until I get to the level I need to be. More reading, more writing, more thinking-- yes thats the only way to get this done. May God bless this personal effort to become an instrument of truth and light of the world.
