My jury duty ended sooner than expected (four days instead of six). It was the murder trial of Jose Santiago, who killed his girlfriend Jessica Rojas two years ago. (See MassLive). It was an interesting, but sometimes difficult, experience. I was chosen to be the foreman of the jury because, I believe, I was the oldest (not the wisest!) person on the panel. Rode the bus to/from Ludlow every day (60¢ each way for seniors!).
