My kiddos are doing a test run with being home alone for a few hours. My oldest is extremely responsible and grown up so I trust her completely with her younger sister but Im still a bit uneasy. Anyway..this is the conversation I had with her via text message. E: Mom, we had a problem. Anna did a handstand and the picture on the window fell and broke. I cleaned up the glass but wanted to notify you. Me: Thank you. Did you vacuum to get the little pieces? E: Nope but I will Me: Thank you, Im very proud of you. :D A little bit later... E: Mom, Chief (dog) doesnt have any food. Me: ok, Ill pick some up on my way home. This is significant because it means they are doing their chores!!! Woohoo!
