My laptop crashed last week. I took it to a local place I had seen advertised and talked about over the past year, but never needed. The bad news. My hard drive is damaged and if recovery of my files was possible I would have to pay a specialist. My files arent worth it. The good news. Our laptop did have an insurance policy on it. So now I have to take it in and replace it. The extra good news. The place was wonderful to do business with. Very friendly staff, very helpful. And the owner donated a netbook to our homeschool. And after loosing several hard drives including the external hardrrive everyone recommends, I am going to invest in online storage.
