My laptop is at the computer shop getting looked over, waiting to hear the diagnosis! (And the estimate to fix, or to let it rest in peace) In the meantime, I loaded my Silhouette design program onto my desktop computer, that I havent used since I got my laptop 2 years ago. Last night was spent recovering files, and getting Dropbox installed on that computer so I can access files that I backed up on Dropbox, and all in all, I am slowly getting back in shape. Even if the laptop is toast, I still have the bulk of my files back, its not all my files, but I can live with it! This morning I have to move the desktop to my craftroom/studio, a chore that I really hate! Crawling under computer desk fooling with wires, and all that. But I am thankful that I had another computer and am able to do it! Maybe by this afternoon, I will be able to get back to the business of creating, and getting ready for my show/boutique, that is just a few weeks away!
