My latest album, Telling Scenes, includes two songs - Break Tradition and Baby Girl - that deal with the issues of family violence and violence against women. Through these songs I became involved with White Ribbon, a male-led organisation campaigning to end violence against women. I became an ambassador for the campaign in July this year. Next Tuesday November 25 is White Ribbon Day, a chance for Australians to stand together against violence in all forms and to say no to violence against women.
